Hello, my husband Darryl and I own Twinmaple Gourd Farm in Western Kentucky.   We are highschool sweethearts and have been married for 33 years.  After 24 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, my husband retired.  We bought acreage and a 125-year-old charming farm house in Western Kentucky.  We have raised three children and  are now empty nesters.  I should clairify that "empty nesters" means the nest is lacking of children.  Our nest is  full of six dogs.   Our children have blessed us with three  beautiful grandchildren.  We feel so blessed that we own our own land and live in the country after moving every few years for most of our married life.  Planting and harvest season are a time we cherish.  Our hobbies include cycling, running, hiking, hunting and of course, growing gourds.  Nothing gives us more enjoyment than growing, drying and selling a gourd that was grown on our farm.  We invite you to visit our farm and to share the joy of gourds that we experiene every day.
